The system allows context sensitive control over the content of the mail traffic and allows pattern matching and wild card based monitoring of the mail traffic to ensure that sensitive information does not leave the company networks via the SMTP (email) route. Hold and process queues ensure that all sensitive Mail flow can be controlled by the compliance administrators.The Mail Scan server intercepts all outgoing messages and data that is inaccordance with the corporate policies and is archived for later reference and retrieval. Any messages that trigger alarms based on the Monitor configuration, (i.e. they contain certain types of pre-defined sensitive or objectionable information or key words) are isolated and queued in a holding area for further processing. This complete end to end encryption, archival and search capability in real time ensures adherence to regulatory policies and allows for investigation of policy violations and preservation of proper forensics evidence to support audits.
